My philosophy is to design with sensibility, originality and quality.
I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. I worked as a Commercial Interior Designer on corporate, medical and public projects.
After 13 years, I made the decision to stay home and raise my children. While at home, I found other ways to use my creativity. The first bag I made did not come out exactly as I had envisioned, but it was the inspiration that led to my passion for designing tote bags. After two years, my hobby had grown, and in 2009, I applied for a business license. The same year I began my online business.
My forté is working with colors and materials. I enjoy finding the perfect materials for my bags. I select materials that are durable, yet fashionable. I design bags that are well organized and retain their shape and form. The result is a stylish product that, over time, will retain its original appearance. I receive a lot of personal satisfaction from working independently and being able to freely exercise my creativity as a designer.
